The Bob James Lightweight reel is based on the Bob James Special but the backplate has been machined to reduce the weight of the backplate by 25%, reducing the total weight of the reel by 10%. This reel has been developed with the help of Bob James, a highly acclaimed fisherman, and features a low inertia take-off spool with a ventilated barrel, ideal for Wallis Casting.
