The Leeds Classic is the perfect reel for the discerning steelheader who is also budget minded. It is light weight, strong, rugged & runs virtually friction free. It provides a high-quality, comfortably priced alternative to fully machined float reels.

The Leeds Classic is equipped with an excellent anti-reverse mechanism so you can lock the spool when travelling or when you're setting up your rig on the river. Remember it is not meant to be used as a drag when fishing.

The Leeds Classic features all aluminum construction that is light weight but also strong & durable. It's two bearing/center pin design ensures friction free rotation, so critical to float fishing success. Finger tip control is enhanced with a thumb knurl on the spool's outer edge.

The rivetted spool assembly really keeps the weight down while being extremely rugged. The smooth-turning handles are shaped for good grip while reeling in "the big one". The black enamelled paint resists corrosion for durability & long life.
